Polysomnography (PSG): This word was originally derived from Greek, with “poly” meaning many, “somno” pertaining to sleep, and “graphy” meaning picture, or to write. There are multiple forms of “many pictures/tests of sleep” or Polysomnography, the primary forms we use are compared by in-lab/in-facility or in-home.

In-Home: Home Sleep Apnea Testing (Current Procedural Terminology Codes 95800, 95806), Extended Pulse Oximetry Monitoring (CPT Codes 94760, 94761, 94762).
